Why Does God Create Sinners?

Dear Brother Ron

Why does God create beings He knows will sin and go to hell? What do you believers feel about this? Don't say free will either because I am sure you don't let children play with fire or poison to let them express their free will.

Dear Andy E

The word sin is (believe it or not) an archaic archery term. It means to miss the target. Your problem is you don't believe in a god who condemns people to eternal torment for making mistakes. You are right. We all make mistakes. It's part of the learning experience. Our Father knows about them before we are born and forgives us before we commit them.

You call yourself an atheist, yet you acknowledge a God who exists beyond our concept of space and time. I feel you just do not accept the limited definition of God advocated by most religious organizations. You are correct. God is much bigger than most churches say He is. Unfortunately, most people are not looking for the whole truth. They simply want a 15-second sound bite. The church, being a good marketing organization, gives them what they want. You are one of those rare individuals who wants a meal, not a snack.

Keep asking questions. It's the only way you are going to grow into the person our Father wants you to be.

Best always
Brother Ron
